Linnea Allen, Registered Dental Hygienist joined our practice in 2009. She lives locally and graduated from Cape Cod Community College with honors. Linnea scored 100% on her clinical licensing board exam and is also licensed to administer local anesthesia. She has worked for many general practice dentists and a community health center. Her focus with all is the treatment and prevention of periodontal (gum) disease, and educating her patients. Linnea prides herself on her ability to provide excellent patient care and her relationships with her patients from the very young to those of advanced age. She is very enthusiastic about her career as a hygienist and stays current with trends in Dental Hygiene through many continuing education courses as well as professional journals and meetings. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association as well as the Massachusetts and Cape Cod Dental Hygienist Associations. Linnea realizes that some patients are apprehensive about visiting the dentist and hygienist. Her technique reflects her desire to keep her patients comfortable during their visits while providing thorough, comprehensive treatment.
